1、Timbre frequency adjustment for male singers

The base frequency of male voice is around 64-523Hz, and the overtone can be extended to 7-9kHz.

The male singer's voice is required to be solid, and the timbre must be strong, but it will not cause ambiguity. Therefore, the frequency adjustment of the male singer's timbre is required to be processed in 4 frequency bands. According to the overtone structure of the male voice and the spectral curve, the processing method of the male singer in the 4 frequency bands is:

(1)Make a small improvement to 64-100Hz, the purpose is to add some sense of depth, but also the bass range;

(2)Big increase in 250-330Hz, because the main frequency of male pitch is in this area, increasing the frequency band can increase the strength of pitch;

(3)Make a small increase in the frequency band around 1kHz, so as to ensure the frequency performance of the overtone and increase the brightness of the tone, this frequency band can be extended to 3-8KHz;

(4)The frequency band above 10kHz can be processed straight.

2、Adjusting the timbre frequency of female singers

The female audio base frequency is around 160Hz-1.2kHz, and the overtone can be extended to 9-10kHz. Therefore, in order to get the best timbre performance for female voice, it should be processed on 4 frequencies, and the female voice color should be round, clear and bright.

The four frequency processing methods of female singers are:

(1)The female voice song is above 160Hz, the frequency is lower than the female voice domain, do not enhance the treatment;

(2)The 250-523Hz range is the main range of female voices, and the lifting process is done to increase the strength and fullness of the pitch. It is the low and middle range of female voices;

(3)To improve the 1-3kHz frequency band, the purpose is to make the overtone of the tone structure exhibit good frequency conduction characteristics, make the tone more perfect, and at the same time increase the brightness of the tone;

(4)The frequency above 10kHz gives a small increase, the purpose is to make the color of the timbre have sufficient expressive power, and can express the small and delicate parts of the timbre.
